Maintenance Director in Pasadena, Texas at Pillar Stone Health Care Company

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations of our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the facility and equipment are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:

- Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and repairs of facilities and equipment

- Ensure Life Safety Code regulations are in compliance

- Ensure that fire protection and prevention programs are maintained by department personnel in accordance with our fire safety policies and procedures

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards

- Develop and manage maintenance budgets

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

- Identify and implement cost-saving measures

- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs

- Ensure OSHA standards are met

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree, or certification preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management

- Previous maintenance experience in long term care facility, hospital, hotel, apartment, or office building preferred

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards

- Ability to develop and manage budgets

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software
