Account Manager, Voice and Cloud Collaboration

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Manager, Voice and Cloud Collaboration based in the United States.

As an Account Manager, you’ll help drive growth across voice, unified communications, collaboration, and cloud technology solutions.
You’ll support the design, sale, and lifecycle management of leading collaboration platforms and related UCaaS and CCaaS solutions.
The role combines strategic account development, sales enablement, partner engagement, and hands-on support for complex opportunities.
You’ll work closely with sellers, internal stakeholders, technology partners, and customers to accelerate demand and expand market share.
Your expertise will help shape go-to-market strategies, improve sales processes, and deliver strong customer experiences throughout the lifecycle.
You’ll engage with stakeholders ranging from frontline sales teams to C-suite executives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
This is a remote opportunity for candidates local to the Northeast, with flexibility around location depending on business and client requirements.

Accountabilities
  • Drive demand generation, pipeline growth, and marketing initiatives that help sales teams win new business and expand market share.
  • Support frontline sales leaders with UCC Cloud go-to-market strategies, sales coaching initiatives, and effective sales motions.
  • Support the customer buying and selling process from lead generation through opportunity progression, win/loss activities, and lifecycle management.
  • Partner with leading collaboration technology providers and manufacturers to promote cloud solutions and develop co-selling initiatives that generate new opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities related to voice, contact center, unified communications, and adjacent technologies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology partners and suppliers to generate net-new leads and expand commercial opportunities.
  • Manage pipeline reporting, business-performance activities, and opportunity accuracy within internal systems.
  • Develop and support sales training, messaging, content, processes, tools, and practices that enable the broader sales organization.
  • Support customer experience programs across UCC platforms, voice, and phone solutions, with a focus on adoption, expansion, and renewal.
  • Coordinate licensing design, quoting, and purchasing processes for global UCC Cloud deployments.
  • Maintain a regular meeting cadence with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs, customer requirements, and overall practice strategy.
  • Collaborate with voice collaboration and services sales teams to manage opportunities and accelerate demand.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to ensure business outcomes, user experience, and ongoing technology adoption are consistently achieved.
  • Support key practice leaders in managing opportunities and driving demand among both new and existing customers.
  • Take ownership of assigned initiatives, meet deadlines, and contribute strategically while remaining capable of executing tactical priorities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable relevant industry experience; a four-year degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in unified communications and collaboration, audiovisual technology, enterprise technology, or related fields is preferred.
  • Previous sales or sales-support experience is preferred, particularly in technology solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of collaboration platforms and vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, and Zoom.
  • Familiarity with UCaaS and CCaaS platforms such as RingCentral, Vonage, 8x8, Five9, Genesys, NICE, Avaya, and Mitel.
  • Strong understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of unified communications, collaboration, voice, cloud, and contact center technologies.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to independently learn new technologies and evolving UCC, IT, audiovisual, and meeting-space solutions.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate credibly with C-suite executives and other senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong strategic-thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize time effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Proven ability to contribute individually while also collaborating effectively across functional teams.
  • Understanding of regional differences and requirements associated with international technology deployments.
  • Experience supporting international accounts or global program deployments is preferred.
  • Relevant Microsoft, Cisco, Zoom, and/or Google certifications are preferred, particularly sales-focused certifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client or other locations when required.
Benefits
  • Base salary range of $65,000–$90,000, depending on experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
  • Uncapped commission opportunity in addition to base salary.
