About the Role:

The Program Manager VI in the manufacturing industry is responsible for leading and overseeing complex, large-scale programs that drive strategic business objectives and operational excellence. This role requires managing cross-functional teams, coordinating multiple projects, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals while maintaining budget, schedule, and quality standards. The Program Manager VI will serve as a key liaison between stakeholders, including engineering, production, supply chain, and executive leadership, to facilitate communication and decision-making. They will also identify risks and opportunities, implement mitigation strategies, and continuously improve program processes to enhance efficiency and outcomes. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in delivering innovative manufacturing solutions that support the company’s growth and competitive advantage in the marketplace.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 13 years of program or project management experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of managing large, complex programs involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with program management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Ability to travel domestically as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience working in a global manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex manufacturing programs from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, budgets, and resource plans, adjusting as necessary to address changes or challenges.
• Communicate program status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing program performance data and implementing best practices.
• Facilitate risk management processes, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of program risks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies throughout the program lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop junior program managers and team members to build organizational capability.

For California, the base salary pay range for this role is $173,197 - $242,696 per year.Please note this range is provided as a general guideline.
