Fill-In Caregiver – Open Availability Required in Tilton, New Hampshire at Visiting Angels of Auburn/Gilford, NH and Acton, MA

💰 Pay: up to $21 per hour

We are currently building a reliable pool of compassionate and dependable caregivers who are available to assist with fill-in shifts when scheduled caregivers are unavailable or call out.

This role is ideal for caregivers seeking flexible work opportunities while maintaining a consistent professional relationship with our agency.

Position Overview

As a Fill-In Caregiver, you may be contacted to cover shifts on short notice based on client needs and availability. Caregivers with flexible schedules and open availability are highly preferred. Ability to work at least 30 hours/week is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to clients in their homes
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
  • Personal care and hygiene assistance
  • Mobility and transfer support
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication reminders
  • Light housekeeping
  • Companionship and supervision
• Accurately document care provided during shifts
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and office staff
• Respond promptly to staffing requests when available

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• CNA/LNA, HHA, or related certification preferred (if applicable)
• Reliable transportation and car insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, professional, and compassionate demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must have open or flexible availability for potential fill-in assignments
