Description:

* Position is contingent upon contract award

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • De-modification of base EC-130J specific avionics/electrical systems and wiring.
  • Restoration/integration of OEM C-130J avionics systems and wiring.
  • Routing avionics/electrical harness/wire/cable assemblies.
  • Electrical termination of avionics/electrical harness/wire/cable assemblies.
  • Testing avionics/electrical wiring, and installation of aircraft avionics/electrical components.
  • Enforce strict adherence to technical data and management procedures IAW applicable TOs.
  • Ensure aircraft and equipment status is accurately reflected in both the maintenance forms and the Maintenance Information System (MIS).
  • Knowledgeable in executing disaster control duties and responsibilities related to aircraft and SE movement, as well as personnel evacuation, in strict compliance with government directives.
  • Ensure strict compliance and adherence with environmental directives and applicable environmental protection/compliance guidance.
  • Encourage a work environment of zero accident and injuries including no lost time accidents.
  • Review and approve expense reports under the CONCUR system.
  • Other duties and requirements as identified and/or prescribed to meet program requirements.
Requirements:

Required Education and Experience

  • Must have at least five (5) years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Active DoD Personnel Security Clearance
  • Knowledgeable of applicable maintenance directives listed in Air Force Instruction 21-101.
  • Possess the ability cultivate relations and build partnerships at all levels.
  • Demonstrate ability for problem solving and prioritizing multiple projects.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2008/AS 91000 quality standards and related federal/state/local laws and regulations.
  • Lockheed Martin MFC SOF GLSS specific electrical crimp and solder certification (to be conducted on-site).
  • Lockheed Martin MFC SOF GLSS platform specific training (to be conducted on-site).
  • Lockheed Martin MFC SOF GLSS ESH specific training (to be conducted on-site).

Security Responsibilities

  • Current, Active DoD Personnel Security Clearance.
  • Must comply with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures.

Language Skills

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the complex word and technical documents/diagrams.

Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing and work effectively as part of a team.

Reasoning Ability and Mathematical Skills

Must be able to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable. Must be able to calculate figures and numbers, and percentages and be able to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.

  • Will be working in areas with risk of injury from electrical applications, moving mechanical parts, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems under pressure and electrical motion systems.
  • May be exposed to conditions of extreme heat, airborne particles, and loud noises.
