Monster Tree Service of ALBANY & SARATOGA COUNTY has an outstanding career opportunity for a Plant Health Care Technician/Sales Arborist, who will monitor, evaluate, and provide for the plant health care needs of trees and shrubs on our clients properties.
Monster Tree Service of Albany & Saratoga County has fantastic reputation and this can be a limitless opportunity for an experienced Sales Arborist. As a Sales Arborist, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction, estimating job costs, and achieving budgeted sales goals for your territory. This is accomplished through constant communication and daily in-person appointments with customers and prospects. You will be in charge of our Plant Healthcare division.Responsibilities:

• Build and implement a Territory Sales Plan for his/her territory in conjunction with the Owner by Identifying target customers, in the residential, municipal and commercial sectors
• Take a leadership role in training crew members to identify and perform PHC functions
• Take a hands-on approach in the diagnosis and treatment of trees and shrubs for insects, disease, and other health issues
• Operate and maintain equipment used to apply Plant Health Care treatments.
• Properly mix, handle and store materials safely.
• Keep records by following MTS standards and state regulations.
• Maintain positive customer relations and effective communication.
• Inspect plant material and diagnose additional issues to present upsell opportunities.
• Maintain communication with the Arborist team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years industry sales experience or 5 years of related industry experiencewith record of profitable growth
• Must be able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
• Bachelors Degree in the green industry or related field preferred
• Prior field and supervisory experience preferred
• ISA Certification or the ability to obtain one
• Commercial Applicators license
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
• Commercial experience a plus

We are looking for an experience certified Arborist preferably with a Commercial applicators license to take over and grow our Plant Health Care division.You must be a knowledgeable and passionate professional that can work independently in this key role.
