JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Operations Analyst will work under the Finance Director to maintain and advance business systems, primarily the company's ERP. They will work with user groups, functional managers, development teams, and project teams to identify design enhancements and systems configuration opportunities. They will solve organizational information problems by analyzing requirements and recommending system controls and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with maintenance of ERP software and hardware to ensure seamless integration with operations and existing IT systems
  • Support functional aspects and maintenance of manufacturing modules. These include sales, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and production.
  • Develop instructional guides for ERP users, including business processes and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure integrity, efficiency, consistency and timeliness of data inputs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process issues and system errors.
  • Act as a liaison between PRFC and other ERP support consultants to troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Assist with technical development work for ERP customizations
  • Adhere to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job generally operates in an office environment. There are times when the job will operate in a manufacturing and warehouse environment – including cold temperatures in refrigerated/freezer areas and containers. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and requires an internet connection.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED DAYS OF WORK

Full Time Position – 32 to 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

TRAVEL

Travel between both PRFC locations (Point Reyes Station and Petaluma) is expected on a weekly basis.

• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office (specifically strong Excel capabilities) required. Data modeling is a plus

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and business ethics.

• Comfortable in a deadline-driven, project-focused, and fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in business, data science or similar preferred.

• ERP experience in manufacturing industry a plus

• A background in business administration, project management, or a related field will be beneficial.

• Knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes a plus

• Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities, including strong writing skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
