Patient Services Representative at St. Claire Regional Medical Center – Morehead, Kentucky

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for collecting patient demographic and insurance information for data entry.

• Registers patients according to established workflow processes across enterprise, this consist of multiple modules.
• Inputs patient demographic and insurance information for medical record and billing purposes.
• Verifies health insurance.
• Responsible for obtaining co-pay/deductible/out-of-pocket as applicable.

Excellent verbal/written communication skills, computer, numeric and alphabetical filing, telephone skills and have a positive customer service attitude required.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Previous clerical experience preferred.
