About This Position

General Summary:
  • Responsible for the day to day oversight of data entry of a variety of compensation/personnel records transaction. Communicates with virtually every part of the organization to assure the accurateness and timeliness of all transactions. Is responsible for improving processes related to the flow of these transactions. Responsible for a variety of HR Reports & HR related Audits relating to Benefits, Compensation, HRIS, and other compensation and benefits duties.
  • Reviews and enters all status changes, deductions, appraisals, terminations, address changes, W4 information, promotions, pay adjustments, leaves, transfers, verification of certification, and other transaction
  • Reviews transactions for appropriateness and follows-up with managers and employees to resolve problems.
  • Assists new managers with HR processes, paper and electronic flow
  • Inputs rate changes for union and nonunion positions.
  • Inputs merit increases. Assists with the oversight of the merit process to assure that the process runs smoothly. Contacts departments to resolve problems.
  • Assists employees and managers in resolving problems related to non-benefit issues in HRIS system records.
  • Establishes HR interaction with time and attendance team to determine pertinent employee information needed for time and attendance system.

MINIMUM Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED required


MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Two years experience with HRIS systems and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
