SPVR SPECIALTY SCHEDULING at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center – Tampa, Florida

Job Summary:

The Supervisor Specialty Scheduling has responsibility for the oversight of Diagnostic Imaging scheduling function for both the hospital and clinics. Provides direct supervision to the Specialty Scheduling Coordinators who are responsible for patient registration and scheduling functions. Ensures efficient and timely scheduling by managing and monitoring productivity and patient volumes and adjusts staff volumes as appropriate. Acts as a resource to staff and assists manager with the development of department processes and procedures that are compliant with all organizational policies. Reports directly to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager or Manager of Clinic
Operations.

Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of two (2) years of scheduling experience or prior medical experience as a scheduler in a
hospital/ clinic with complex scheduling algorithms is required.
-OR- 2 years patient access experience (-OR- one (1) year of patient access experience at Moffitt Cancer
Center) required. **

Minimum of One (1) year of supervisory and/or lead experience required

Minimum Education:

Associate's Degree- Healthcare, Business, Finance, or other relevant discipline.
