Restaurant Host/Cashier at Zero2One LLC – Hollywood, California

Host/Cashier Job Description: $18/hr plus shared tips
Prior Host, Theme Park or Tour Guide Experience a Plus.
A Host serves as the direct and often first communication the team has with the guest. Hosts/Cashiers communicate directions, explain the ordering process, assist guests with any questions, maintain the line, and possess expert knowledge of the building and culture. Additionally, the host will be trained to operate the ordering devices and will be qualified to assist the guest with any and all needs. A bright personality and excellent customer service skills are befitting our hosts/cashiers.
Hosts will be expected to maintain a clean and polished appearance, keep up to date with all of the new features and products we offer, and possess excellent multitasking skills. Hosts are responsible for maintaining a fun and exciting experience for our guests and team alike.
Primary Responsibilities
• Coordinate and communicate all directions, ordering procedures, and company specific facts to our guests.
• Ensure that all guests receive a warm welcome and any questions are answered.
• Assist in managing order flow and timing to provide an exceptional dining experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station.
• Monitor and ensure we are meeting Health and Safety standards.
• Help front and back of house employees to accommodate our guests with any special requests to enhance their dining experience.
Skills
• Experience in a theme park or fine dining service environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including banquets and catering services, is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• New Restaurant Opening experience is a plus!
• Familiarity with KDS systems preferred.
