Assistant Fitness Coordinator (internaljob)

This position assists the Fitness Coordinator with staff scheduling, fitness programming, and marketing promotions. Responsible for assisting theFitness Coordinator and Manager in meeting or exceeding membership and revenue goals. A high school degree is required; an associate''s degree in Exercise Science, Biology, Pre-med, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field is preferred. Current Adult and Infant Cardio Pulminary Ressusiation, Basic First Aid, Water Safety Instructor (or equivalent), Aquatic Exercise Association certification (or equivalent), and Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute certification or equivalent required. Previous "people managment" skills and program development skills required. Aquatic technical skills, workshop and presentation experience and skills, and two years of specific populations experience also required.
