Salary: £13.09 per hour + £42 per sleep-in shift

The Role
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Weekend Mental Health Support Worker to join our team. You will support service users with their daily routines, well-being, and independence while working as part of a supportive team. This role does not involve personal care.
Shift Patterns
Shift 1 - Day Shift: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Shift 2 - Night Shift: 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm &
Sleep-In Shift: 11:00 pm – 9:00 am
(Flexible weekend availability required.)
Key Responsibilities
Support service users with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning, and laundry
Encourage independence and support individuals to achieve their personal goals
Support service users with shopping, cooking, meal planning, and healthy eating
Assist and/or accompany service users to appointments and community activities
Provide emotional support and promote positive mental well-being
Support engagement in activities and reduce social isolation
Assist with paperwork and day-to-day tasks where required
Medication & Record Keeping
Support medication observation using digital eMAR systems
Record accurate daily notes using digital care software
Complete digital checklists for staff and service user tasks
Contribute to updating care plans and risk assessments
What We’re Looking For
A caring, patient, and non-judgmental approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work weekends reliably
Basic IT skills (for digital care systems)
Previous experience in care or mental health (desirable but not essential)
