Project Manager, Marketing
The Creative Service Ops Manager is responsible for overseeing all creative projects within the department while ensuring that all brand standards and values are being met. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Creative Services, while supporting cross-functional teams with regards to Marketing Design specific projects, Photo team alignment, and Seasonal Product Creation team calendars.
Project/Operations Management
- Responsible for successful onboarding, planning, management, and delivery of all marketing design projects (Seasonal and Hot Market), including social, web, video and retail trade.
- Oversee the output of the Marketing Design Team to ensure all work is delivered on-brief and on-time.
- Manage creative calendar including photoshoot schedule and photo shoot execution (internal and external).
- Manage schedule of photo shoots, sample requests and coordination.
- Assist in building the seasonal Product Creation Calendars for the Design, Development, Product and Production Art teams to follow and adhere to.
- Assign all projects to the Marketing Design Team to ensure balance and appropriate flow.
- Partner with marketing channel leads (retention, acquisition, social and website) to build out content calendar within Asana.
- Organize projects to be accessible and archived in logical and efficient manner.
- Run all projects through Asana and ensure streamlined project coordination, efficiency and clarity in task management.
Leadership
- Effective and efficient oversight of the creative marketing calendar and seasonal product creation calendars.
- Manage workflow and align with cross-functional teams to ensure the Marketing Design Team is supporting all Marketing and company creative needs
- Enforce and optimize processes to ensure effective and efficient lines of communication between functions
(marketing, ecommerce, product development and product design)
Act as the department liaison and collaborate across all functions of the organization to ensure successful execution of marketing content and calendared timelines.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong understanding and navigation of ASANA software platform required.
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, Teams)
- Ability to work well within a team environment; providing support, critique and assistance on projects
- Ability to stay organized while managing numerous projects; prioritizing workload based on timelines and approvals
- Experience working in creative environment: fast pace, high output
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to communicate ideas both visually and verbally to others
- Ability to keep your cool under pressure
- 3-5 years experience in managing projects in a creative environment
