Shop Foreman – MINI of Universal City

Ready to lead from the front?
MINI of Universal City is looking for a hands-on Shop Foreman who can drive performance, support technicians, and keep the shop running at a high level every day.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead daily shop workflow and dispatch work based on technician skill level
• Jump in on complex diagnostics and difficult repairs
• Keep jobs moving—remove roadblocks and ensure on-time completion
• Hold the line on quality, safety, and manufacturer standards
• Work closely with Service Advisors on repair status and upsells
• Drive technician productivity, efficiency, and overall shop performance
• Coach and develop technicians to improve skill and output
• Eliminate comebacks and repeat repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop
• Set the tone—accountability, urgency, and leadership by example

What You Bring:

• Strong diagnostic and repair background
• Experience as a Shop Foreman, Lead Tech, or similar leadership role (preferred)
• Solid understanding of dealership workflow and operations
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and elevate a team
• High accountability for quality and performance
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications (a plus)
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
