Position Overview

Unica Enterprises has immediate openings for janitorial staff in DeSoto, Texas, to support a 75,000 SF aquatic and recreation facility operating seven days per week, with full-time and part-time, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift coverage. This is a high-demand, fast-paced cleaning environment requiring strong teamwork, reliability, and leadership across all shifts.

Scheduling Requirements (APPLIES TO ALL POSITIONS)

• Facility operates 7 days/week
• Three-shift operation:
  • 1st Shift: Full-Time; Early morning (starting @ 5am)
  • 2nd Shift: Full-Time; Day/Evening (starting @ 1pm)
  • 3rd Shift: Part-Time, Daily close out operations (starting @ 9pm)

• Continuous cleaning and sanitation during operating hours
• Clean and disinfect:
  • Restrooms, locker rooms, and showers
  • Pool decks and aquatic areas
  • Fitness areas, gymnasium, and public spaces
• Floor care (mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming)
• Trash removal and supply restocking
• High-touch surface disinfection
• Window glass cleaning
• Respond to spills and urgent cleaning needs
• Support events (tournaments, swim meets, rentals)

Qualifications

• 3+ year custodial experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
• Must be able to pass background check and E-Verify
