Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all territory operations, including route sales, product distribution, returns processing, account servicing, and new customer acquisition, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets and growth objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to define route goals, performance standards, and customer expectations while driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Supervise and support route sales personnel by providing guidance, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products to effectively assist the sales team, address customer inquiries, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
• Direct the daily operations of the route distribution center, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Monitor and enforce safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards, including OSHA regulations, to maintain a secure and organized work environment.
• Analyze route performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement strategies to improve productivity, profitability, and account penetration.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operational and business objectives.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in route sales operations, sales, or account management, with prior industry experience preferred.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and corporate customers at all levels.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships.
• Proven ability in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
• Solid presentation, persuasion, and active listening skills to influence decisions and drive outcomes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and general computer applications.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and meet job demands in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
