Production Manager 3rd Shift in Totowa, New Jersey at New Cibo Vita LLC

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, food safety requirements, and efficiency targets are achieved. This role leads production team members in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and supports continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Cibo Vita’s commitment to quality, safety, and innovation in better-for-you snack products.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily production activities and ensure schedules are met efficiently and safely.
Monitor production lines, staffing levels, equipment performance, and workflow productivity.
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, USDA Organic, OSHA, and company food safety standards.
Train, coach, and motivate production employees to maintain high performance and accountability.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning departments to minimize downtime and resolve production issues.
Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and inventory usage documentation.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, waste reduction, and increased operational efficiency.
Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of production areas.
Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and attendance standards.
Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Food Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
3–5 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment.
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA, and OSHA regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with production scheduling and manufacturing software is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Comfortable working in manufacturing environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
