Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement multiplayer gameplay systems and match mechanics that support engaging and balanced player experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, artists, animators, and engineers to translate game vision into functional features.
  • Build and iterate gameplay features using visual scripting tools and Unreal Engine (UE5 preferred).
  • Analyze playtest feedback and live data to refine gameplay systems and improve balance and player experience.
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of competitive multiplayer mechanics across core game modes.
  • Work closely with design leads and directors to ensure gameplay systems align with overall creative vision.
  • Document gameplay features, systems, and design decisions to support team alignment and production clarity.
  • Continuously optimize gameplay mechanics for responsiveness, fairness, and long-term engagement.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience working on multiplayer and/or live service games.
  • At least one shipped AAA title in a gameplay design or related role.
  • Strong expertise in game scripting and hands-on experience with Unreal Engine, preferably UE5.
  • Solid understanding of vector math and gameplay systems logic.
  • Deep passion for competitive multiplayer games and strong knowledge of modern action or competitive game design.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills combined with technical implementation ability.
  • Experience working with iterative design processes informed by playtesting and data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed development environment.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work environment with global flexibility.
  • Generous paid time off allowance.
  • Dedicated summer and winter studio shutdown periods (in addition to PTO).
  • Comprehensive private medical and dental healthcare coverage.
  • Private mental health support program.
  • Annual health and wellbeing allowance.
  • Discretionary studio bonus based on performance.
  • High-end equipment provided for home office setup.
  • Additional region-specific benefits depending on location.
  • Strong culture of autonomy, trust, and creative ownership.
