Job-Type: Full-time, non-exempt
Pay: $30-35 hourly, dependent on experience.
Hours: Monday-Friday. Some evening or weekend work may be required, but with notice
Typical shifts are 6AM - 3PM or 7AM - 4PM
Job Description:
As a Lead Project Engineer, you will assist the Director of Operations in running projects assigned to you and your team. Typical jobs assigned will include: wood and metal stud framing, drywall installation and finishing, painting, fixture replacements, concrete / masonry repairs, facade repairs, ceiling work, pressure washing, line striping, flooring installations and others. The Lead Project Engineer will review the scope of work of each job with their Director and assist in keeping each project on task, while also providing support and training to the other members of the team as well as direct labor to complete each project.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team on assigned projects
Assist with basic carpentry and painting tasks, including cutting, measuring, and fitting materials
Transport tools and materials to work sites
Maintain and clean tools and work areas
Follow safety guidelines and instructions from lead carpenters
Help with the assembly of wood structures and fixtures
Perform other duties as required by the project
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and materials
Ability to lift at minimum 50 lbs and carry heavy materials
Good physical condition and ability to work in a variety of environments (e.g., indoors, outdoors, on construction sites)
Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Required:
Previous experience in construction, general contracting or similar and supervising others
Valid Driver's License
The pay range for this role is:
30 - 35 USD per hour(HQ)
