Job Description

Part-Time 20-25 Hours/Week

Position Summary

The Inside Account Manager is responsible for managing and supporting existing customer accounts, ensuring a high level of service, responsiveness, and accuracy in all interactions. This role plays a key part in driving customer satisfaction and retention while contributing to overall revenue performance through effective account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, managing inbound and outbound communication via phone and email
  • Meet or exceed established communication and activity metrics, including call and email volume targets
  • Process orders, quotes, and pricing updates accurately and in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and consistent follow-up
  • Resolve customer issues, concerns, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Coordinate with internal teams (customer service, operations, production, and shipping) to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in CRM and internal systems
  • Monitor account activity and identify opportunities to enhance service levels and customer satisfaction
  • Provide product information and guidance to support informed customer purchasing decisions
  • Contribute to team sales quota achievement and overall revenue objectives through effective account management and customer engagement

Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • 1–3 years of customer service, sales support, or account management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve performance goals
