Job Description

SPS Companies Fire Protection Division (Pipe Fabricators) is currently seeking an individual to fill an opening for a full-time Digitizer/Sales Support role at our Howells, NE location.

This is a full-time position. Work hours will be 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday, but may vary on occasion. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, life, AD&D, long-term and short-term disability insurance. SPS is also an ESOP company, with employees holding shares of the company once fully vested.

Our Digitizer/Sales Support role would include, but not be limited to the following daily duties.

Hand entering or digitally processing projects

Work closely with our sales team members to ensure complete communication from project start to finish

Review fabrication paperwork for accuracy

Upload, prepare, & process fabrication quotes for our customers

Prepare purchase orders

Print fabrication paperwork & labels and prepare job folders for production lines.

Once trained, provide technical support to sales and customers

Create and maintain customer databases

Retrieving jobs via email from customers to be edited and reviewed

Editing and reviewing jobs in Hydralist to ensure material is correct

Entering jobs from specs created by contractors/fire protection

Troubleshoot issues with customers if fabrication files look incorrect

Position Qualifications

Attention to detail & accuracy.

Be able to prioritize & complete a variety of tasks in a timely manner

Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Be proficient in computer data entry & keyboarding.

Accurate typing/10 key

Previous Fire Protection experience is not required

Starting Wage is $18.00/Hour
