About This Position
Job Purpose
Servers are the face of Trapper’s Sushi, creating memorable guest experiences by providing exceptional service, ensuring accuracy in orders, and delivering meals with efficiency and care. This role is essential in fostering a welcoming dining environment and upholding the company’s standards of hospitality.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet, seat, and engage guests in a warm, professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver items promptly.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer guest questions with confidence.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience by anticipating needs and resolving concerns.
- Handle payments, process transactions through the POS system, and manage guest checks accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and side work areas.
- Follow all health, food safety, and sanitation procedures in compliance with OSHA and local health regulations.
- Support team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.

Experience & Qualifications
- Previous serving or customer service experience preferred.
- work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Washington State MAST Permit required prior to the first day of work (per state law).
- Washington State Food Worker Card required prior to the first day of work (per state law).
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout shift.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 20 pounds; occasionally up to 40 pounds with or without assistance.
- Carry trays and navigate crowded dining areas safely.
- Work performed in a restaurant environment with exposure to hot surfaces, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including non-slip footwear, is required.
