$5,000 Sign On Bonus

Job Summary:
The Assistant Clinical Manager supports the Clinical Manager in the management and delivery of clinical services within the residential program. This position will focus on all client-related services to ensure quality, integrity, and coordination of services. The Assistant Clinical Manager ensures that the clinicians are adequately trained and competent in all aspects of service delivery. There will also be a focus on quality improvement as it relates to professional conduct in meetings and maintaining all standards of documents are upheld.
Job Duties / Essential Functions
1. Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Program Director on the delivery of all clinical services.
2. Ensure that all standards of ethical behavior, professional conduct, and mental health requirements are followed.
3. Ensure that all standards of documentation are upheld based on policies and regulation.
4. Design, implement, and monitor new and innovative approaches in the development of the residential program.
5. Responsible for the recruitment, supervision, development, and training of all clinical staff.
6. Maintain professional licensure.
7. Complete 40 hours of training per calendar year in accordance will all corporate and regulatory requirements as required.
8. Maintain a fiscal awareness regarding census and budget related issues.
9. Provide oversight, supervision, and when necessary direct involvement with both internal and external customers, maintaining positive customer relationships and facilitating open lines of communication to best address the needs of the children in our care.
10. Ensure continued risk assessment and risk management related to each individual child and to the overall assigned program.
11. Assist in the performance and observation of restraints as necessary when ordered by a licensed professional using the current approved KidsPeace restraint methodology on youth who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and who are verbally or physically threatening or otherwise present a threat to themselves or others.
12. Attend ITT Meetings and ensure meetings are focused, comprehensive, and appropriate in goal and discharge planning.
13. Attend all applicable meetings and participate on appropriate committees.
14. Maintain awareness of the KidsPeace continuum of services and actively promote the internal transfer and referral of children and families whenever clinically indicated.
Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)
1. Master’s Degree in a related clinical discipline and appropriate licensure required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of direct treatment experience with children / adolescents required.
3. Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
4. Must be at least 21 years of age.
5. Valid driver’s license, SCM certification, CPR/First Aid certification required
