MHT Senior Team Lead at KidsPeace Childrens Hospital – Orefield, Pennsylvania

The MHT Senior Team Leader functions under the supervision of the hospital's MHT Supervisor/Nurse Manager. The role entails supervising an assigned team of MHT Shift Team Leaders and MHT associates, providing direct supervision, clinical support, training, coaching, and administrative supervision. The Senior Team Leader is responsible for monitoring the overall functioning of the module milieu environment, ensuring clinical excellence, safety, and crisis management for the client population by offering direct support to both clients and newly hired MHT associates. Direct supervision responsibilities encompass the entirety of the shift.

Duties:

• Supervise MHT associates' work hours, timecard approvals, and address concerns or issues, documenting meetings and resolutions.
• Collaborate with MHT Supervisor/Nurse Manager on performance concerns and implement disciplinary or performance improvement actions.
• Facilitate monthly MHT meetings, submit agendas and minutes, and ensure administrative tasks are completed, including evaluations and timecards.
• Ensure module supplies, inventory, and physical plant needs are met, including cleanliness, maintenance, and work order follow-through.
• Provide ongoing training, supervision, and support for new MHT associates, while maintaining safety, therapeutic milieu, and crisis intervention standards.
