Assistant Professor of Chinese Humanities in New York City, New York at Barnard College

Barnard College (New York, NY) seeks Assistant Professor of Chinese Humanities. Teach courses

in the Department of Asian and Middle Eastern Cultures at an undergraduate, liberal arts level,

specifically courses relating to Chinese history, literature, religion, philosophy, art history, or

related. Engage in standard nonteaching duties, such as attending department and faculty

meetings, serving on department and college committees and mentoring students.

Ph.D. in East Asian Studies, Chinese History/Culture, or a related field.

Requires a record of original research in Chinese culture, history, or literature.
