About This Position
The HRIS Data and Operations Administrator is a specialized role with a dual focus on data analytics within the HRIS ecosystem and supporting HR operations. The role interfaces closely with Human Resources, IS, and cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions and provide efficient administrative support. As an expert in HR data analytics and a key member of the HR team, this role requires proactive communication, deep data analysis, strategic organizational coordination, and a commitment to exceptional service. This role, along with the rest of the HRIS team, reports directly to the VP of HR Operations and Transformation pending future matrix reporting structure to a Director of HRIS and Data Analytics.

HRIS Data Analytics & Insight Generation:
- Conduct advanced data queries to extract actionable insights, focusing on HR processes, performance metrics, and long-term trends related to HR operations (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, training).
- Prepare detailed analysis reports, create SOPs, and run audits, working with the HRIS Functional Lead to provide insights for strategic decision-making to senior leadership.
HR Operations & Executive Administrative Support:
- Provide comprehensive executive administrative support, including scheduling and managing meetings, managing calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
- Assist with project management initiatives within the HR department, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion using project management technology tools.
- Handle other executive administrative duties as assigned.
HR KPI Data Reporting:
- Generate and maintain HR Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports, presenting critical metrics related to the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Partner with HR leadership to identify relevant KPIs and build reports aligned with organizational goals.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Serve as the go-to person for HRIS data analytics queries, facilitating communication between HR, IS, and other stakeholders.
- Translate technical data findings into easy-to-understand recommendations for non-technical staff.
Project Management Administrative Support:
- Support the HRIS project management during new system rollouts, including coordinating vendor meetings, testing, and preparation of materials.
- Maintain comprehensive system documentation, ensuring updates are made in alignment with system changes.
Vendor & IS/IT Department Coordination:
- Support the management of relationships with external vendors for analytics tools or services.
- Collaborate closely with the IS and IT department for system support, integrations, and issue resolution.
Training & Compliance:
- Coordinate departmental staff training and updates in systems operations, data analytics tools, processes, and best practices.
- Monitor systems and analytics to ensure compliance with organizational policies, recommending corrective actions as needed, including supporting CBL administration.
Reporting & Dashboard Maintenance:
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of HR dashboards, providing accurate and timely data analytics for decision-making, including dashboards specific to HR operations.
- Craft and maintain detailed reports and dashboards, collaborating with project coordinators to tailor project-specific reporting.
Ad-hoc Responsibilities:
- Execute daily tasks as required and take up other responsibilities as assigned, adapting to the organization's evolving needs.
Performs other functions to maintain personal competence and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department by:
- Completing other job-related assignments and special projects as directed.

- Direct patient care providers are required to maintain current BCLS (CPR) and other certifications as required by position/department.
- Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and self.
- Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
- Complies with established organization and department policies.
- Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science, management, human resources, data science, etc.) or an associate degree and equivalent job experience required.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR Administration, HRIS, Human Resources, or Data Analytics preferred.
- Advanced data modeling and visualization experience with tools like PowerBI, Tableau, etc. strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, including leveraging AI tools for communication and data analytics.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated experience with executive administrative tasks and strong organizational skills.
- Experience with HR information systems and HR data analysis is a plus.
- While experience with system implementations is valuable, a deeper focus on HR processes and data analysis is essential for this role.
Knowledge & Skills
