Your job will involve designing and writing configurations for AGV processes to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate must be experienced with Information Technology and programming. The goal is to create and change software configurations in both new and already established projects inside manufacturing facilities.

Commissioning Specialist

Tuscaloosa, AL

Responsibilities

• Configure and program Mobile Robots on a per-project basis using a proprietary GUI and configuration language
• Diagnose and repair software errors on various AGV components
• Design and execute process layouts through a proprietary interface
• Install and maintain software components through a GUI Interface
  1. Sometimes through the Linux Command Line Interface
• Travel to customer locations to roll-out software configurations and changes
• Working as part of a small team to meet deadlines for customer project
• Train internal and external partners as the available packages transform
• Create technical documentation

Requirements:

• Experience with programming, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
• Experience with the Linux CLI, any knowledge of BASH and XML is a plus
• Experience with network troubleshooting
• Ability to learn in new software environments
• Valid US driver’s license for travel outside home state
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
• Ability to work occasional weekends and off shifts for project launches
