Central Scheduler at Columbus Regional Health – Columbus, Indiana

What you need to know about this position:

• The Central Scheduler position provides accurate, efficient and courteous scheduling by utilizing the computerized scheduling system in an organized and timely manner.
• This position communicates with physicians, physician office staff and patients. The position works cooperatively with hospital departments and personnel. Age groups served are primarily adults and seniors.
• The base hourly rate for this position is $17.27. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This full-time position would require you to work Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM.
• This position is 100% remote.

What is required for this position:

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One (1) year experience in a medical setting that includes operation of Microsoft Word, Excel, Scheduling systems and other software programs.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer keyboarding skills must be at the 75th percentile.
• Grammar and vocabulary skills must be at the 75th percentile.
