AI Engineer at Camgian Corporation – Huntsville, Alabama

Camgian is looking to expand its development organization with the addition of an AI Engineer to join our team. We are focused on applying state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning technologies to advance decision support products in the government and commercial markets. This is a hands-on technical position that involves the development, training, and validation of AI, ML, CV & DL based algorithms and models. Teamwork, flexibility, and willingness to continuously learn new concepts & technologies are critical requirements for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, or mathematics
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with AI, ML concepts and techniques through professional and/or academic projects
• 0 - 5 years professional experience
• United States Citizenship

Desired Skills

• Master’s degree in a computer science related discipline
• Foundational knowledge in AI, ML, and DL with a strong mathematical background
• Strong programming skills
• Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn and/or OpenCV
• Experience with tools such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, MATLAB
• Creative problem solving ability
• Understanding of Agile development methodology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
