The Service Assistant assists the Service Managers and Advisors with general clerical and customer service duties, greets guests on the service drive, receives incoming service calls, schedules appointments and follows up on work performed.
Your Day-to-Day
- Answers incoming service calls; schedules appointments.
- Schedules service appointments for the sales department to ensure any after-market accessories or additional products or repairs are completed promptly.
- Contacts customers to schedule field action/recall visits.
- Manages daily service schedules to handle influx of business.
- Backs up Service Advisors and Porters to ensure all service guests are greeted in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.
- Makes follow-up phone calls to ensure service work was performed to the guest's satisfaction.

- Proven computer proficiency using a wide variety of web-based programs and software; experience using CRM systems, automotive DMS systems (DealerTrack) preferred.
- Previous automotive experience a plus.
- Outstanding organization and follow-up skills.
- Desire to provide a high level of customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be goal-driven and have a strong desire to succeed.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations within the past three years.
