Job duties include but are not limited to the following. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in residential and commercial settings. Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, testing and troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations, and using various hand and power tools. Work with wiring, lighting, control systems, and power infrastructure, ensuring everything is functional and safe for buildings and structures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Installation: Install wiring, lighting, control systems, and electrical equipment in new and existing structures.
Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical components like circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical problems using testing devices.
Safety & Code Compliance: Adhere to all national and local electrical codes, building regulations, and safety procedures.
System Testing: Test electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret circuit diagrams and blueprints to plan and execute installations.
Documentation: Document all repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
