What Makes This Role Special

We're searching for a high-energy Fleet Lot Operations Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two days are the same. This isn't your typical desk job; you'll be the driving force behind our entire lot operation, orchestrating the seamless flow of vehicles through our shop, leading a dynamic team, and ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with exceptional communication skills who spots inefficiencies and jumps in to fix them. Your Day-to-Day Adventures

Lot Operations Management

  • Monitor and coordinate the flow of vehicles through the shop to ensure timely processing and meet operational deadlines
  • Supervise porters to maintain productivity and ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently
  • Provide hands-on support in the drop zone area to facilitate smooth vehicle intake and processing
Quality Control & Compliance
  • Monitor Operations Service Coordinators (OSCs) to ensure vehicles are inspected and processed within required timeframes
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met, and documentation is current to avoid out-of-date compliance issues
  • Walk sale cars with representatives to provide detailed vehicle information and address any concerns
Value Enhancement & Customer Service
  • Identify and recommend additional reconditioning opportunities to maximize vehicle value for customers
  • Collaborate with Operations Service Coordinator to implement value-adding reconditioning strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with customer representatives and address their needs professionally
Team Leadership & Support
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by ensuring all team members support each other across different accounts
  • Coordinates resources to assist accounts that require additional support, ensuring balanced workload distribution
  • Serves as acting Fleet Manager during their absence, maintaining continuity of operations

What We're Looking For (The Must-Haves)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+yearsofexperienceinautoauction, fleet management, automotive retail, or related field
  • Strong understanding of vehicle reconditioning and inspection processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
  • Experience with fleet management software and auction management systems
  • Previous supervisory team lead experience
  • Knowledge of automotive compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, with Friday auction day support (weekends are yours!)
  • Location: 2800 N US Highway 17-92, Longwood, FL 32750
