Scrub Technician at ANDREW HALL MD PLLC – Las Vegas, Nevada

Fort Apache Surgery Center is a surgery center specializing in Pain Management. Candidate must have the ability to work independently and well as part of a team; have basic knowledge of surgical technique. The successful candidate must be organized and a positive team player. Ideal candidate has experience in an ambulatory surgery center experience but it is not required to apply. Longevity, positivity and teamwork is very important to us and we are willing to train the right person.

Duties includes:

• Working as a team to deliver safe patient care.
• Working in Sterile Processing and Instrument Decontamination
• Assisting in Operating Room turnover.
• Assisting with inventory control and restocking of supplies.
• Assists with the preparation of the operating rooms.
• Pulling needed supplies for the upcoming cases.
• Performs sterilization and disinfection required for instruments and equipment as per manufacture's instructions.
• Ability to maintain accurate sterilization and decontamination logs.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is required.

Required Skills:

• Must be a CST or CRCST
• Prior experience in instrument processing preferred.
• Prior experience as a surgical technologist preferred.

Experience:

• New grads welcome
• Pain Management Experience
• Orthopedic Experience

Education/Certifications:

• Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program
• BLS Certification
