Medical Records Technician at Central Peninsula Hospital – Soldotna, Alaska

POSITION SUMMARY: The Medical Records Technician provides medical records and clerical support for the Wellness Department. This position plays a key role in the Wellness Department, functioning as the intermediary between the facility and physician offices, local hospitals, and other care staff and agencies in the community.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires graduation from high school or equivalent and 2 years of experience in medical records and knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
