Within CPLC, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is dedicated to promoting the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied children, and other eligible individuals and families. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
As a Safety Monitor, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe, organized, and supportive residential environment for our clients. You will oversee facility safety, ensure consistent implementation of program procedures, and help maintain accurate data and documentation related to safety operations.
You will promote a work environment rooted in clear communication, collaboration, professionalism, and team building. By working closely with internal departments, you will help support a comprehensive continuum of services that prioritizes client well-being, stability, and dignity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent education and 1-year related employment experience.
Preferred 3 years of relevant experience in security.
Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card, CPR, CPI and First Aid Certifications.
Bilingual language skills in English/Spanish and as appropriate to population served required.
Cleared background check from appropriate entity.
Cleared drug test results.
Training, education and experience in community outreach, public health or social work preferred.
