Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential customers identified predominantly from other Voltai’s teams or organically based on the candidate's understanding of the ecosystem
- Use customer discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and understanding of potential solutions
- Host customer workshops and organize tailored demonstrations to explain Voltai's solutions to customers
- Develop final customer solution with Voltai's Product and Engineering teams for existing products, or support creation of new products for new concepts
- Iterate with customer on technical scope and business model, and guide the proposal through approvals at customer
- Plan revenue strategy and outlook for these specific solutions in both automotive and other adjacent domains
Required Skill Sets
- Relevant career experience – 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in fields like Solutions Engineering or Architecture, Technical Business Development, Technical Product Management, Technical Account Management, or Forward Deployed Engineering at a top-tier tech company.
- High EQ – can read the room and adjust the approach in real-time.
- Coachable & open-minded – strong opinions loosely held; can take and apply feedback.
- First principle thinking – the ability to decompose things down to the fundamental axioms.
- Tech smart – You can understand tech products deeply. You meet with engineers directly and can talk about technical design. You can advise customers about technical integrations.
Bonus Points
- Have a background in Electrical Engineering.
- Have a background in AI.
- Track record – has creatively and independently done complex enterprise deals.
- Ex-founder who sold to enterprise (massive bonus points if you are one).
- Previous experience in a startup environment or high-growth company.
