Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Human Resources Manager will develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background and a passion for creating a professional and seamless experience for candidates, employees (current and former), and external stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting employee engagement.
  • Implement performance management systems, including setting KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, CA & Multi-State, local employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR software systems, and handle HR administrative tasks as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience with clinical lab operations preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Paylocity HRIS experience is ideal.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
