Overview

Our HR Business Partners are trusted advisors to leadership within each function, driving impactful HR initiatives that align with our business goals and contribute to organizational success. They collaborate closely with leadership to influence talent management, increase division performance, and shape a positive and inclusive employee experience.

While leading a team of HR Business Partners for our various divisions, the Team Lead ensures consistent use of HR best practices and champions change across departments. We are seeking a dynamic and solutions-oriented HR leader who is committed to delivering strategic value, solving complex challenges, and impacting company culture. Responsibilities

  • Empower your team. Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team by setting and measuring objectives aligned with business goals. Mentor your team through active coaching, clear direction, and regular feedback. Partner with the HR management team to set HR strategies, ensure consistency in approach, and appropriately handle unique circumstances.
  • Drive results. Further define and implement strategic talent management and performance management programs to align the workforce to achieve company goals. Utilize HR metrics and data analysis to drive decision-making and provide coaching to department managers. Generate reports on key HR metrics for management review.
  • Be an expert. Serve as a consultative thought partner to leadership to align business needs with talent management objectives including employee engagement, career pathing and equitable compensation. Stay connected to the competitive landscape and recommend strategic changes within the division. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Influence change. Lead change initiatives and support organizational transformation aligned with Esris goals. Communicate changes and their impact effectively to employees and provide support throughout the employee journey. Monitor effectiveness of changes and identify areas of continued opportunity.
  • Solve problems. Address employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution. Collaborate with our Employee Relations team on investigations and recommend solutions to maintain a positive work environment. Proactively manage and resolve employee concerns and mitigate legal risk.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders. Lead key meetings with business leaders and the HR team. Collaborate with business leaders to interpret business needs and identify talent priorities. Build strong partnerships with HR specialists in the areas of employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational development and training, and compliance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience as an HRBP or similar role, with a focus on strategic HR initiatives involving career development, engagement and retention, performance management, talent acquisition, and compensation
  • 1+ years of professional experience mentoring colleagues on HR Business Partner best practices
  • Outstanding maturity, flexibility, and sound judgment in complex situations
  • Demonstrated track record of building successful relationships and partnerships at all organizational levels
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with high volume
  • Excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing, leveraging interpersonal skills and business acumen
  • Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage diverse perspectives and achieve consensus
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions, leveraging analytics to inform business strategies and improve outcomes
  • Expertise in change management, with experience guiding teams through transitions and driving continuous improvement
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations including ADA, EEO, FMLA, Title VII, and wage and hour laws and benefits
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, communications, or similar field

Recommended Qualifications

  • HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
  • Experience in an information technology company during a time of high growth
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • MBA or masters degree in human resources, communications, or industrial psychology

Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$93,600—$156,000 USD
