Environmental Services Worker at Citizens Memorial – Ash Grove, Missouri

Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) is recruiting an Environmental Services Worker.

Ash Grove Healthcare Facility is an 82-bed long-term care, skilled nursing facility. Services include a 20-bed memory care unit to meet the needs of individuals with dementia, including Alzheimer's disease.

Description of department: The day shift consists of three housekeepers, a floor tech, a laundry worker, and the director. Our evening shift consists of one housekeeper and a laundry worker. Environmental Services has a set schedule, the only time it changes is with staffing changes.

A typical day will include: Day shift cleans resident rooms, dining rooms, administration areas, visits with the residents, and helps nursing in any way possible. Evening shift doesn't clean resident rooms, but are responsible for the dining rooms after dinner. Evening shift is also responsible for gathering trash throughout the building, cleaning the public and staff restrooms, vacuuming the building, cleaning the employee breakroom and kitchen, as well as visiting with residents.
