Job Opportunity: Construction Safety Monitor
Ensuring Safety, One Site at a Time!

We’re seeking a Construction Safety Monitor to join our team! If you have experience in construction or safety and are fluent in Spanish, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure workers and subcontractors follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings to discuss hazards and safe practices.
• Report safety violations, incidents, or near-misses to the construction manager or safety supervisor.
• Assist in investigating accidents to determine causes and preventive measures.
• Maintain and update safety documentation, including inspection reports and safety meeting records.
• Provide safety training to new employees and subcontractors as needed.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices in construction safety.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a safety monitor, officer, or similar role in the construction industry.
• Fluency in Spanish (required).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to obtain OSHA 10 within 90 days.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, or other relevant safety certifications preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional safety certifications are a plus).
• Willingness to work Saturdays if necessary.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, climb ladders, navigate construction sites, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range: $18 - $24/hour, based on experience.
