Job Description
River Valley Family Health Centers is looking for a Medical Records Clerk to join our team in Delta or Olathe, CO. The Document Processor supports the timely, accurate processing of medical records and related patient documentation. This role receives, reviews, scans/uploads, indexes, and routes protected health information (PHI)—including lab results, orders, referrals, and external records—into the electronic health record (EHR) in accordance with organizational policies, HIPAA, and retention requirements. Coordinates and communicates with clinical and administrative staff to prioritize document workflows, track outgoing/incoming items (print/fax/scan), and help maintain complete, organized patient charts. Assumes personal accountability for River Valley Family Health Center’s mission, values, and service standards.

Qualifications
This position requires long periods of standing and walking, sitting at a computer, the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds, etc. Employees are required to complete mandatory vaccines, such as Tdap, Hep A, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and the yearly flu vaccine.
