TR Toppers is a national food processing company located in Pueblo, CO. We specialize in processing name-brand candies and other types of inclusions used in various food products, such as ice cream and cakes, and ship throughout the company. SUMMARY: The Janitorial Associate will observe all safety regulations and ensure that all GMP (good manufacturing practices) standards are met while maintaining company restrooms, break rooms, and locker rooms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Clean, sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub assigned areas.
• Perform all cleaning tasks on the master cleaning schedule.
• Clean windows and appliances.
• Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies as necessary.
• Empty wastebaskets and recycle bins.
• Report major repairs to the supervisor.
• Cary out frequencies and responsibilities in the Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• A high school diploma or a General Educational Development (GED) certificate is required.
• One year of related experience and training.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None required.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Employees must be able to multitask.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold, extreme heat; the risk of electric shock; and vibration.

WORK SCHEDULE: This position will operate on the afternoon shift, 11:00 am to 8:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, on Friday. However, the employee must be flexible and able to work other shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed to meet the company's requirements.
