About This Position
Description:
The House Cleaner is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure residential homes are tidy, sanitary, and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks in residential settings, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms (tubs, showers, toilets, counters, and mirrors).
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas (sinks, countertops, exterior of appliances, and cabinet fronts).
- Change linens and make beds as required.
- Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly.
- Monitor and maintain an adequate supply of cleaning products and tools.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or necessary repairs observed during cleaning.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a variety of indoor conditions, including exposure to cleaning solutions and varying temperatures.
- Manual skills required to handle and operate cleaning equipment and tools
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Familiarity with safety standards and handling guidelines for various cleaning products.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and trustworthiness.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting quality standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between client homes.
