Requirements:

Your Role: Patient Account Representative

Help patients navigate their medical billing with compassion and professionalism:

  • Handle inbound calls and make courtesy outbound calls
  • Negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding balances
  • Assist patients with insurance-related questions
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all communications
  • Follow HIPAA, company, state, and federal regulations

What We're Looking For

ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL - Reliable team members who honor their committed schedule

Required Qualifications:

  • Medical office experience (preferred) OR strong customer service background
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude

Work Environment & Schedule

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM start time (based on staffing needs)

Environment:

  • Climate-controlled office setting
  • Assigned cubicle workspace
  • Primarily sedentary role (95% seated)
  • Occasional light lifting (under 5lbs)
  • Building has stairs to access different areas
