Your Role: Patient Account Representative
Help patients navigate their medical billing with compassion and professionalism:
- Handle inbound calls and make courtesy outbound calls
- Negotiate payment plans and resolve outstanding balances
- Assist patients with insurance-related questions
- Maintain detailed documentation of all communications
- Follow HIPAA, company, state, and federal regulations
What We're Looking For
ATTENDANCE IS CRITICAL - Reliable team members who honor their committed schedule
Required Qualifications:
- Medical office experience (preferred) OR strong customer service background
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Team player with a positive attitude

- Empathetic approach to patient interactions
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Professional phone manners
Work Environment & Schedule
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM start time (based on staffing needs)
Environment:
- Climate-controlled office setting
- Assigned cubicle workspace
- Primarily sedentary role (95% seated)
- Occasional light lifting (under 5lbs)
- Building has stairs to access different areas
