Day Shift Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
PTO upon hire, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are offered on the first day of the month after hire, 401(k) after 6 months.
Overview: As a Program Analyst II at Keel Midwest, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional financial management, planning, analysis and execution to drive business growth and success.
Job Functions:
- Responsible for performing business analysis and programmatic activities for a program, providing data analysis to the program management team, and developing and tracking budgets.
- Performing business analysis and programmatic activities for a program, providing data analysis to the program management team, and developing and tracking budgets.
- Performing business analysis and programmatic activities for a program to inform business decisions
- Providing electronic systems resources to the program management team to support program execution
- Developing and tracking budgets to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Conducting workforce forecasting to inform program planning and resource allocation
- Computing Earned Value for a variety of funding sources to track program performance
- Preparing monthly/quarterly Estimate to Complete/Estimate at Completion (ETC/EAC) updates to inform program decisions
- Developing and maintaining revenue forecasts and monthly analysis of actuals to drive business outcomes
- Interfacing with program management and estimating groups for proposal activity to ensure accurate and competitive pricing
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to obtain US Security Clearance.
- Participates in Contract Review(s), and Contract Modification Review(s) representing the finance organization.
- Participates in Proposal Review(s), and Proposal Revision Review(s) representing the finance organization.
- Ability to complete work independently or part of a team under General Supervision; mismanaged, inaccurate, or flawed analysis would involve review and corrective action from Lead, and would include moderate resources to assist, experienced.
- Assists in developing Analyst I skills, teaches work process, provides guidance on decisions, and supports team growth.
- Experience in Decision Support driving business outcomes to the executive level.
Physical Demands: Minimal physical stress, but moderate to high mental stress due to the impact position has on customer satisfaction and future business.
Work Environment: Typical office environment. Extended computer use and screen time to be expected.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 3-5 years of prior relevant Finance or Accounting experience.
- Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to review Analyst work, provide insight, and corrective action when necessary
- Proficiency in Data Analysis including various data analysis tools (Excel, PowerBI, SQL).
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills.
- Understanding of Customer requirements.
- Experience with cost/schedule development, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, financial modeling, corporate forecasting, and/or business acquisitions.
- Ability to accurately perform financial calculations used in cost/budget analysis.
- Proficiency with the use of imported and/or exported data.
- Ability to adjust in a changing fast-paced business environment.
- Financial analysis, forecasting and reporting to include variance explanations
- Experience with budgeting and earned value reporting
- Experience with cost/schedule development, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, financial modeling, corporate forecasting, and/or business acquisitions.
- Ability to accurately perform financial calculations used in cost/budget analysis.
- Experienced in the use of imported and/or exported data.
Preferred Requirements:
- Specific Defense industry Experience to include Earned Value Management, Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DFARS, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proposal Analysis/ Management to include rate analysis, business case preparation, and executive review a plus.
- Process improvement/ lean six sigma knowledge and mindset a plus.
- Financial Project/ Program Management experience a plus.
- Strategic Negotiations experience a plus.
- Experience with evaluating and negotiating Customer requirements to include Statement of Work (SOW), Terms & Conditions (T's & C's).
- Experience leading Regional/Program Level Estimate at Complete (EAC) Review(s), Invoicing Forecast(s), analyzing and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Experience in Decision Support that drives business outcomes for the leadership and Executive Teams.
- Experience Leveraging Data Systems & Artificial Intelligence to support large data sets from multiple sources; utilized in strategic business discussions and decision support.
