Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward in Miami, Florida at Clean Tec Outsourcing LLC

Job Description:

The Kitchen Steward is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of the kitchen, including dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods, as well as maintaining the equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning projects as directed by supervisors.
• Properly wash, stack, and store china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and containers.
• Keep dish area organized and free of clutter.
• Clean floor mats, sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Sanitize garbage cans and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Assist kitchen personnel as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness standards set by the company, Health Department, and OSHA.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• May be required to use constant hand motions, kneel, walk, reach, bend, stretch, or lift up to 20 pounds repetitively.
