Welcome to the DNC Internship Application! The DNC is accepting applications for our Fall 2026 Civic Engagement and Voter Protection Legal Internship Program!

Interning at the DNC is a unique opportunity for hardworking, passionate future leaders to gain real-world, hands-on experience in Democratic politics, deepen their understanding of the political process, and prepare for future political opportunities. The internship, specifically in the Civic Engagement and Voter Protection Department, offers law students unparalleled access to in-depth knowledge of our election laws and the chance to contribute to the critical work of ensuring every voter can cast their vote, have it count, and have fair elections. The program will run from August 31, 2026, to November 13, 2026, and will be conducted in a hybrid format. Interns based in the Washington, D.C. area will have the opportunity to perform in-person work for the DNC at the Democratic National Headquarters and DNC events. You must be located in the United States to apply for this internship.

The DNC Internship Program provides a $3,000 stipend. Housing is not provided. During the upcoming term, interns are expected to work 20 hours per week.

The application deadline is June 12, 2026.
