Job Description
Duprey Hospitality is a Concord, New Hampshire-owned and operated, full-service hotel management company with management contracts including Marriott, Choice and Hilton hotel brands. Duprey Hospitality currently manages 6 hotel properties as well as an restaurant, a one of a kind event space and rooftop bar, and a independent 16,000 sf conference/event center.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing a wide range of accounting duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role includes maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting entries for multiple entities, and preparing financial statements. The Staff Accountant works closely with the management team and other company associates while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality at all times. Requirements:Some essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Prepare journal entries required for financial statements
- Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned properties
- Review the A/P and A/R closings for accuracy
- Review and verify correct reconciliation of bank statements
- Assist auditors with year-end reviews or audits of assigned properties
- Monitor property level accounting controls for cash and revenue recognition
- Process A/P and A/R
- Assist with the annual budget process
