What You'll Expect
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone beginning their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, reporting, and compliance. The position will support day-to-day accounting functions while ensuring accuracy, organization, and adherence to internal and external standards.
What You'll Do
- Classify and record financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, accruals, and liabilities
- Review and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
- Maintain vendor records, including collecting and organizing W-9 forms and Certificates of Insurance (COI)
- Prepare and assist with 1099 reporting in compliance with IRS requirements
- Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and external regulatory standards
- Support audit requests by providing accurate documentation and reports
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Support accounts payable and payroll functions as needed
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Assist audit team during internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters

What We Require
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
